We are in the middle of extraordinary times across the world. The devastation of COVID-19 is visible wherever you turn – from TV and computer screens to the faces of our children who can’t possibly understand why going to the playground or park is not possible right now. It’s a health crisis the world hasn’t encountered in decades. And every day, millions of workers in healthcare go in to face a threat that can’t be seen – only felt in the anguish and anxiety surrounding this pandemic.
In times like these when humanity is tested, it’s goodness that often shines through brightest. Positivity and connection leads to resilience. And gratitude. We created this global site to provide the world a way to give gratitude to healthcare and hospital workers and to create a gathering place for the appreciation toward these heroes. As a company focused on gratitude for millions of people for more than 20 years, we know the impact that gratitude can have on individual and organizational performance as well as a person’s well-being. While the science behind it is long proven, we sometimes have to remind ourselves just how important it is.
